What is 67 Ceti
67 Ceti is a yellow G-type star in Cetus, around 333 light-years away from Earth. Its warm colour echoes our own Sun's directly, yet it sits among the dark expanses of the largest equatorial constellation anywhere in the sky. A small quiet light in a vast empty sea, where Mira the variable and Tau Ceti the nearby star draw almost all of the observer's attention.

67 Ceti lies in the southern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is October, when it culminates around midnight.

It can be seen from anywhere south of 84° N.
