7 Trianguli belongs to a small, geometric constellation wedged between Andromeda and Aries, as if drawn with a set square. It is a white A-type star whose young, hot light has travelled 281 years through the vacuum to reach us today. At magnitude 5.3 it sits just at the threshold of naked-eye visibility, a faint candle above the night-time triangle.
