Cool red starIts story
A very cool red giant in Capricornus, distant and serene. Its light left around the year 1251, during the reign of Louis IX of France and the building of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. The relative coldness of M-type gives it that deep red of ancient embers: under truly dark skies, its muted glow almost blends in as a simple flicker among the stars.
