Its story

30 Capricorni is a blue B-type star, far hotter and more luminous than the Sun, set in the modest figure of the zodiacal Sea-Goat. Its hue betrays surface temperatures of tens of thousands of degrees. Its light departs more than five centuries ago toward us, crossing a region of sky sparsely populated with bright stars.
