Its story
In Pegasus, the winged horse, shines an orange type-K star 270 light-years away. Its light set out in the late eighteenth century, when the Montgolfier brothers raised the first hot-air balloon at Annonay and humankind first brushed the paths of the air. Cooler than the Sun, its copper glow speaks of the giants' rest —a calm flame riding the back of the celestial steed.
