Its story
Theta Cygni is a close neighbour, just 60 light-years away, a yellow-white star barely larger and hotter than the Sun. Accompanied by a very distant red dwarf, it has been at the centre of an astronomical debate for years: subtle radial-velocity variations hint at a two-Jupiter-mass planet on a 150-day orbit, still unconfirmed. Young — between one and 1.6 billion years old — it keeps its secret unresolved.
