Its story
In the Swan, crossed by the misty river of the Milky Way, glows an orange giant 462 light-years away. Its light set out when Copernicus had already published «De Revolutionibus» and European astronomy was shaking its geocentric foundations. Its amber tone springs from an atmosphere cooler than the Sun's, swollen with years. It inhabits a quiet corner of the northern summer sky, far from the alpha stars.
