Its story
36 Cygni flies with the great summer Swan, about 204 light-years away, in the heart of the visible Milky Way. A-type, white and hot, its clean light pierces clouds of dust and thousands of fainter stars before reaching our telescopes. One among many mid-bright jewels that adorn the celestial bird's outstretched wings.
