28 Aquilae —catalogued among variables as V1208 Aquilae— is a white-yellow F0III giant whose variability was discovered by Michel Breger in 1969. It belongs to the Delta Scuti group and pulses simultaneously at two distinct frequencies, 6.68 and 7.12 cycles per day —overlapping rhythms beating at once—. At 337 light-years, in the body of the celestial Eagle, it has been a classic entry in pulsation catalogues for half a century.
