Its story
In the Serpent that coils around Ophiuchus shines a white A-class star. Its light has crossed the sky for some 615 years, when Filippo Brunelleschi was completing the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. A stars are young, energetic bodies, with very hot surfaces and spectra where the hydrogen lines impose themselves as the absolute protagonists.
