Its story
Nameless, this orange star shines in Sagittarius, toward the heart of the Milky Way. Its light has spent 762 years crossing the void —it set off as Iberian Christian kingdoms pushed south after Las Navas de Tolosa— and has not yet arrived in full. Cooler than the Sun yet noticeably larger, it belongs to the giants that were once Sun-like and have begun to swell, a golden foretaste of what awaits our own star.
