Its story

4 Sagittarii hangs some 415 light-years out, in one of the richest stretches of sky —the lane that points toward the heart of the Milky Way. Its blue-white light betrays a surface far hotter than the Sun's and a luminosity worth hundreds of suns. Tagged as a suspected astrometric binary, its faint wobble hints at an unseen companion no telescope has yet caught on camera.
