What is HIP 84150

Its light set off when Napoleon was beginning his European campaigns and the printing press was multiplying the first modern newspapers. Two centuries later, that white edge slices through the blue of the night with the same precision with which it left the star's surface.

HIP 84150 lies in the southern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky.
