Its story
9 Herculis is an orange giant about three hundred and ninety-seven light-years away, in the figure of the kneeling hero holding his club. Its K-type glow, deep and warm as an ember, marks a star that has already exhausted its core hydrogen and swollen to sizes the Sun will only reach billions of years from now. Hercules holds many jewels: this is one of the calmest.
