Its story
Within the perfect circle of the Northern Crown pulses an orange type-K star, cooler and more serene than the Sun, clad in the coppery tone of a fire at dawn. Its light has been on the road for 764 years: it set out when Marco Polo was about to return from his journey to the court of the Great Khan and Venice prepared to hear impossible tales of the East. It has travelled through as many lifetimes as dynasties have fallen since.
