Nusakan

Variable starIts story
Nusakan shines at 112 light-years from the Earth in Corona Borealis, the small celestial diadem the ancient Greeks attributed to Ariadne after she was abandoned by Theseus on the island of Naxos. It is a yellowish, slightly variable star, whose light vibrates with shifts in brightness almost too small to register to the human eye without any instrument of precision. The light now reaching the European sky left the star around the end of the First World War, while Europe slowly counted its losses and started to redraw its maps.
