Its story
33 Boötis is a white A-type star about 186 light-years away in Boötes, the herdsman who seems to lead brilliant Arcturus by the hand —one of the brightest beacons of the northern sky. The light we receive set out shortly before the invention of modern photography and the rise of the first great industrial fairs. It is a sober star, of clean spectrum, without flourish —pure sustained intensity in a cool white.
