Virgo stretches her hand across the celestial equator, and in her fingers shines a white type A star 247 light-years away. Her light arrived from the edge of 1779, when Herschel was building his mirror telescopes and would soon discover Uranus. Type A: clean, young, with no story beyond that of fire itself.
