Its story
It glows in Virgo, one of the largest zodiacal constellations, with the warm tone of a K-type star, about 292 light years away. Its light set out around 1734, when Linnaeus was working on his Systema Naturae and the enlightened academies were setting the pace of European thought. A touch cooler than the Sun, it emits a settled orange that feels of late twilight. A discreet, ancient flame making itself felt from afar.
