What is HIP 65466

In Berenice's Hair — that mythical locks offered to the gods by an Egyptian queen — gleams a blue-white A-type star, hotter and more luminous than the Sun. Its 285 light-years set out when Linnaeus was publishing Systema Naturae and life was, for the first time, ordered into kingdoms, genera, and species. Its light crosses the void like one more classification — but infinitely older.
