Its story

25 Comae Berenices burns at 635 light-years as an orange K-type giant within Berenices' Hair, one of the few constellations commemorating a real historical figure. Its temperate, swollen surface radiates the warm hue that sets it apart from the many whites and yellows that stud the area. The light that brings it into view tonight departed in the heart of the European 14th century.
