Its story
41 Comae Berenices burns orange about three hundred and thirty-one light-years away, in the tresses an Egyptian queen offered to the gods. A K-type giant that has long left its stable youth and is slowly swelling toward its next great transformation. This region of the sky lies near the North Galactic Pole, and its light reaches us almost dust-free, cool and clean as few others.
