Its story

36 Comae Berenices is an M-type red giant, among the coolest visible to the naked eye in Berenice's Hair. At 324 light-years, its ruby tone betrays a surface barely above 3,500 degrees —cool for a star, scorching for anything earthly. It inhabits a sky region nearly empty of bright stars but crowded with distant galaxies. A slow flame among entire universes.
