Along the winding body of Draco, glows an orange K-type giant 466 light-years away. Its warm light set out as Cervantes published the first part of Don Quixote in Madrid. Cooler than the Sun yet far larger, it offers a golden gleam among the dragon's scales, reminding us that every circumpolar star keeps a rhythm different from our lives.
