Its story
68 Draconis glides 158 light-years away within the long winding figure of the Dragon, a circumpolar constellation that never sets below the horizon at northern mid-latitudes. Of class F, yellow-white and somewhat hotter than the Sun, it stands out for its notably high proper motion: it drifts across the sky faster than most of its apparent neighbours, quietly betraying its relative closeness compared with the distant background of fainter stars.
