Its story
43 Lyncis is a modest rarity: a G-type star 347 light-years away, a distant cousin of our own Sun, set in a constellation notorious for its faintness. Hevelius named Lynx saying that only lynx-eyes could discern its stars, and 43 Lyncis fits that inventory of dim lights. Its yellowish glow took three and a half centuries to cross the void to this night.
