Its story
It dwells in Antlia, the small air-pump constellation drawn by Lacaille, about 279 light years away. Its light began traveling around 1747, when James Lind was launching his clinical trials against scurvy and the Enlightenment was sweeping through European courts. A K-type star, cooler than the Sun, with an orange tone reminiscent of glowing wood embers. A modest light in a discreet constellation, yet charged with the stability only millennia bestow.
