Its story
In the deep southern sky, within the small constellation of Volans —the flying fish—, shines a white star of pure light. Its journey began around 1747, when Linnaeus was settling in Uppsala the new taxonomy that would order all living things. Hotter and more massive than the Sun, it travels that youthful phase in which stellar fire is sharp and powerful.
