A cool red M-class star in Gemini, hidden between the twins. M stars are the most numerous in the universe, and yet almost always the least visible —their warm colours are shy—. At 779 light-years away, its light set out when the samurai of the Hōjō clan were ruling Japan and Europe s earliest universities were debating Aristotelian philosophy. A discreet ember between Castor and Pollux.
