Its story
63 Geminorum lies just 105 light-years away, in the constellation of the Twins, Castor and Pollux. Behind its yellow-white F-type glow hides a hierarchical multiple system of as many as six components —a small stellar town bound together by gravity. Its surface hovers near 6,470 kelvin, hotter than the Sun's, and it burns roughly twice as white and as brisk as our daytime star.
