Another white A-type in Monoceros, this one more than five hundred light-years out. Its light departed around 1474, deep in the Italian Renaissance, while Botticelli was painting Venus rising from the sea and the printing press had just changed the circulation of knowledge forever. Five centuries on, that white trail finally lands in our instruments.
