129 Tauri burns blue around 735 light-years away, in a wide region of the Bull, far from Aldebaran s face and the Pleiades cluster. Its type-B surface easily exceeds twenty thousand degrees, a cold and electric light that travels without rest. What a human eye receives tonight set out in the heart of the Middle Ages, while the first European universities were being built.
