Its story
In Taurus, that powerful figure that charges across the winter horizon with its horns, shines a yellow-white star of F type. Its light set out three hundred and forty-seven years ago, towards the end of the seventeenth century, when Leibniz and Newton were almost in parallel sketching the infinitesimal calculus. Slightly hotter than the Sun, it unfolds a clear, pale-gold glow. It is a discreet light among the great embers of the Bull, lost between the Hyades and the Pleiades like a soft note in a powerful orchestra.
