Its story
In Taurus, the celestial bull eternally charging the hunter Orion, shines an orange K-type star some 262 light-years away. Its light set out in the mid-eighteenth century, when the Enlightenment was reaching its maturity and the French Encyclopédistes were publishing their great work to order human knowledge. Cooler than the Sun, its coppery glow joins the bull's blazing eye, that mythic beast challenging the hunter since the dawn of the world.
