Its story
21 Orionis is a yellowish F-type star, somewhat hotter and more luminous than the Sun, set on the outskirts of the great hunter's constellation. Its light travels around two hundred and two years before reaching our eyes, long enough that tonight's photons set out at a time when European astronomers were beginning to unravel celestial mechanics with ever finer instruments.
