Its story
Far from the glittering belt of Orion, in a quieter nook of the hunter, glows an orange K-type star 482 light-years away. Its light departed when the Tudors were consolidating England and Thomas More was writing «Utopia» in 1516. Cooler than the Sun, with a surface near 4,500 degrees, its coppery tone is typical of a star already advanced in years.
