Hot blue starIts story
In Perseus shines a blue class B star 867.6 light years away. Its light set out around the year 1158, while the abbess Hildegard of Bingen was composing her musical visions in the Rhineland. A star considerably hotter than the Sun, with an almost violet surface, whose light reaches us after centuries of silent travel through the interstellar void.
