Its story
Tau-7 Eridani is one of a long series of stars bearing the letter Tau along the celestial river, that sinuous course winding from Orion to the distant south. It is a white A-type star at 251 light-years, one of many pale beacons marking the flow of Eridanus, among the oldest and longest constellations of the firmament.
