104 Aquarii shines at 839 light-years, in the eastern edge of the Water Bearer where the celestial stream fades toward the horizon. It is a G-type yellow giant that has already outgrown the Sun and burns with the creamy light of stars past their youth. The photon arriving tonight set off when Europe was just beginning to forget the Black Death.
