Its story

Cetus, the Whale, stretches calmly across the southern reaches of the zodiac. There hangs a white class A star, its light contained and clean. That photon began the road 281 years ago: it set out while Voltaire was publishing his Philosophical Letters and Europe was beginning to question its own foundations openly. The star, indifferent to the debate, has landed all the same.
