Its story
In Cetus, the celestial whale, shines a yellow star whose light has been traveling for more than three centuries. It set out when Halley was calculating the orbit of his comet and European explorers were boarding the Pacific with ever more refined instruments. It is G-type like the Sun but more luminous and mature, a distant relative of our star already slowly swelling its atmosphere. The constellation, laden with myths of sea monsters, harbors this modest golden glow barely visible on a dark night without a telescope.
