Rho Pegasi is a white A-type star just over three hundred light-years away, riding the back of the winged horse that gallops upside-down across the autumn sky. The Great Square of Pegasus is one of the northern sky's most recognisable figures, and Rho shines on its outskirts —one of those quiet pieces that hold the silhouette without claiming the limelight.
