Its story
37 Pegasi lies about 169 light-years away, within the great square of the winged horse that rules the autumn skies. It is a yellowish type-F star, slightly hotter and whiter than the Sun. The light now settling on Earth set out in the mid-nineteenth century, when the first transatlantic telegraph lines were still being drawn.
