Its story
15 Pegasi is a yellow-white F-type star, not far in colour from the Sun but a touch hotter, shining at just 89 light-years —astronomically close— within the famous quadrilateral of Pegasus. That relative nearness makes 15 Pegasi a neighbour of the solar district, one of those stars whose light takes less than a century to arrive and which we would see almost as our own Sun if we could draw closer.
