Its story

Kappa Capricorni is a yellow giant in the tail of the Sea Goat, that hybrid figure — half goat, half fish — that Mesopotamian civilisations already recognised in the sky more than four thousand years ago. Its warm hue betrays a star that has begun to fuse helium in its interior, swelling with the calm of mature age. Its light takes nearly three centuries to cross the void that separates us.
