Its story

In the modest Microscopium, the constellation dedicated to the instrument that opened the invisible world, radiates an orange giant about 220 light-years away. Its light set out around 1806, when Napoleon was decreeing the Continental Blockade and Europe was being reordered by cannon fire. Larger and cooler than the Sun, its amber tone slips like a whisper among the anonymous stars of the southern field.
