16 Delphini shines in tiny Delphinus, a constellation so compact that it almost fits entirely inside an outstretched fist held up at arm's length. It is a white A-type star 197 light-years away from Earth, part of that wider family of fast, hot suns that dominate the late-summer night sky. A modest piece of a small group amateurs spot at once thanks to its kite-like shape.
