Eta
Its story
Eta Delphini shines some 236 light-years away in the small but beloved constellation of the Dolphin, that crisp diamond that seems to leap out of the Milky Way. It is a white A-type star, part of an asterism so compact that any dark sky reveals it at a glance. It accompanies the four stars that draw the body of the mythological cetacean, a reminder that the most cherished constellations are not always the largest.
