Its story

Omicron Capricorni is a white A-type star about 217 light-years away in the zodiacal constellation of the Sea-Goat —that hybrid creature, half goat half fish, that the Babylonians already called Suḫur-Maš. Capricorn is among the faintest zodiacal figures, making it hard to trace under urban skies, but this star supplies one of its defined points along the outline of the hybrid's body. Its light set out for Earth when Philip II still ruled in Castile.
