Its story

Nu-2 Lyrae shines white at 232 light-years, inside the small but celebrated Lyre that the musician Orpheus once held in classical myth. Its A-type spectrum speaks of a young, hot star — the kind that fills the opening pages of any spectroscopy course. The Lyre gathers here one more note within its short constellation: tiny in celestial surface, vast in musical and mythical history.
